Albino

Common Name: Ball or Royal Python

Scientific Name: Python Regius

Morph Features: Amelanistic Color Mutation

Genetics:  Simple Recessive

First Produced: Bob Clark 1992

The albino was the first mutation introduced into the market by Bob Clark in 1992, and is responsible for igniting the craze for these amazing pythons. The albino lacks melanin and basically strips all the blacks & browns from the animal. What is left is a gorgeous white & yellow red eyed snake. There are variants of the T- Albino that range from faded to high contrast all of which are beautiful and highly sought after. Today the albino has been bred with a number of different mutations and still has major potential and value.
